Women Entrepreneurship

WE (Women Entrepreneurship) is a project developed by the Let’s Go Foundation supported by GE Money Bank.

WE is geared towards creating a culture of ambitious, enterprising women who are determined not only to improve their quality of life, but also to channel their creativity, energy and enthusiasm in creating jobs for their fellow countrymen, in effect helping the Philippines.

Women Entrepreneurship will be launching its teaching program to be rolled out to pilot schools in early 2008. Based on the results of the pilot, the program will be refined and enhanced for wider implementation across the country.

WE aims to support Filipino women who aspire to become successful entrepreneurs. Through the WE program, women no longer have to solely depend on the limited jobs available in the country, or to leave their families in taking jobs abroad.

“We look at the program as a long term development opportunity that will encourage women Entrepreneurship in the Philippines. GE Money is committed to support this initiative and will help roll out the program to more schools in the future,” shares Tomoko Takazawa, Corporate Citizenship Leader for GE Money Asia.
